AGE BASED TEAMS/REGISTRATION

Harrison Youth Lacrosse teams compete primarily with other teams who are members of Hudson Valley Lacrosse (HVL), a regional chapter of US Lacrosse, the governing body for all youth lacrosse in the United States.  HVL has adopted the recommendation of US Lacrosse to organize teams according to age to ensure a level playing field among players.  Most youth lacrosse organizations in HVL are doing the same.  HYL believes that age-based teams promote fair competition and has also adopted age-based teams.  Registration for teams in HYL is now being done by age.  To determine your child's U-based team please see the following US Lacrosse website.

2020 HARRISON YOUTH LACROSSE BOYS PROGRAMS

The BOYS K-2 lacrosse clinics are designed to introduce boys in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades the fastest growing sport in the country.  The main goal of the clinics is for the boys to have fun so that they enjoy lacrosse and look forward to continuing to excel each and every week.

The clinics will be run by NRG Lacrosse with help from High School Varsity Players and Coaches.  NRG Lacrosse will be teaching different skills by using drills and exercises that are fun.  These drills help develop important skills used in games.  Multi-player exercises simulate game situations and build a knowledge of the game.  The boys will build confidence while having fun with their friends.  Although there will probably not be any real games for this group, it will give them a head start for the years when they WILL play other teams.

For the Boys K-2 program please contact Rob Frattarola at 914-299-3335 or fratt27_@hotmail.com.  Alternatively, you may email Michael McLaughlin at
